Hi Manuel,

Let us know if you are facing any issues with your install?

Please make sure to have a look at the h/w and s/w matrix to the driver and the firmware as well as the supported OS requirement.

Do note that the driver for the 1240 will have to be installed as they are not inbox with the OS.

Hi Abhinav,

Thanks!

So in general B200 M3 and XenServer should work with actual drivers and firmware?

Is there an installation guide for XenServer - VIC 1240 drivers?

Thanks

Manuel

Yes Manuel,

As long as you isntall the supported OS and corect drivers it should work fine.

There is no such specific gudie from us to install the drivers but the process will remain the same as for installing any other driver on the XenServer.

Thanks!

I do have a problem with this blade type (mlom 1240), too.

After downloading the driver package, there is just a readme that xenserver 6.0.2 includes the driver already. dmesg shows that fnic and enic modules are loaded and working.

I have configured zoning on the nexus5k, flogi shows my netapp storage and blades logged in. i cant find any luns and my netapp storage just shows "not logged in" when looking at the initiator groups.

when doing a "fcp topology show" i get the following:

Port    Port WWPN                State    Type     Attached WWPN           Port ID

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1/29    20:1d:54:7f:ee:9b:a2:c0  Online   F-Port   50:0a:09:82:98:fa:78:c5 0xb30000*

1/30    20:1e:54:7f:ee:9b:a2:c0  Offline  none                                    -

67109   24:c8:54:7f:ee:9b:a2:c0  Online   none     24:c8:54:7f:ee:96:a2:00 0xb30001

                                                   20:00:00:25:b5:11:00:0e 0xb30002

                                                   20:00:00:25:b5:11:00:0c 0xb30004

                                                   20:00:00:25:b5:11:00:0a 0xb30006

so the netapp sees the wwpns of my b200m3 blade.

any ideas how to debug?

solved. i had an error in my zoning configuration.
