1.What are the question to be asked before creating BOM for UCS B200 M5 server?

2.Is it necessary to select operating system while ordering the B200 M5 server? Or is it optional?

What is part id for ESXi 7?

Questions would typically be around what CPU, Memory, Drive, boot options are needed within the server. Also it is important to know what firmware is running on the UCSM infrastructure to make sure no firmware upgrade would be recommend or if it is required to inform the customer that an upgrade is needed.

It is not necessary or required to select the OS or purchase the OS license from Cisco. This is optional.

There are different PID fro the ESXi 7 licenses.
