For hyperflex, we have M4 and a M5 policies for Firmware.
Unless you have really old OS's that have old drivers that don't like current firmware, you might want split up at the Model Generation (i.e M4, M5).
Keep in mind that a given firmware release will have firmware for all non-deprecated, current models and generations of servers. so you may not really need to split up into multiple policies.
