Binding FI uplink to Service profile vnic

Hi,

I have a requirement to  bind fabric interconnect uplink to vnic in service profile.

vmware vswitch will have this vnic as uplink. we need to send span traffic on FI uplink port from n/w switch, that should reach to virtual machine connected on vswitch.

any idea how to achieve this.

Hi Saurabh,

In UCS span config i cannot use span destination as vnic , it always gives options of FI uplink,

here in my case source is FI uplink & destination is vnic to which VM is connected.

i will receive  span traffic from 6500 on FI uplink , & i need to fwd to VM inside blade.

VM is in listening mode .it will only receive span  traffic.
