C200 and 6200 connectivity

Hi,

if we want to manage a C200 by a 6200 via a 2232, do we always need to connect both the 1Gbe and 10Gbe interface?

In our existing C200 we don't have any VIC's and both cards are connected to some other network, so we only want to connect the 1Gbe ILO interface to the 2232 for management, is that a supported/working setup.

Regards,

John

Hi John,

Yes its required that you connect the LOM ports and the 10 G port for the C series integration.

The CIMC ports cannot be connected to the 2232 for the management.

Moreover if you have the 10 G ports they also need to be connected to the B series cluster not to any other switch for data traffic.
