c260 M2 CIMC web interface times out using Shared LOM 10g

I have two new c260 M2 servers with CIMC v1.5 (3d). The CIMC web interface is not accessible if I use the 10gig ethernet connection and specify CIMC to use the Shared LOM 10g with either active-active or active-standby. I'm using static IP address for CIMC. I can ping the CIMC address, but the https connection to it times out. It does work over the dedicated LOM port.

Hi Coty,

When your servers are using the LOM ports for CIMC access, did you make sure that if you are using more than one of these ports are configured on your management switch on the same subnet?



Shared LOM?A connection to the CIMC is available only through the LAN On Motherboard (LOM) Ethernet host ports. In some platforms, a 10 Gigabit Ethernet LOM option is available.

Note
In shared LOM mode, all host ports must belong to the same subnet.
