The current Storage Policy - Disk Group Policy "ST0_RAID1" is used on a bunch of rack servers with 2x HDD for RAID1 boot LUN. We now have SSD drives in our newer C240s and thus the Disk Group Policy will not work as it it specifically looking for HDD instead of SSD.
If I was to change the Drive type of the Disk Group Policy "ST0_RAID1" from HDD to Unspecified, would that affect the existing rack servers which are booting from HDD type drives and are using this Disk Group Policy?
If I change the Disk Group Policy to Unspecified, I think it will be unable to find the correct disks for RAID1 (we use only 300GB SSD for RAID1 and the rest are 960GB SSD), so I think it will find the 960GB SSDs and make those the RAID1.
What do you think?
