Same problem in later versions however the CLI login is OK with the characters but the GUI access via flash or html5 does not work.

Cisco UCS Central 1.4.1 and 1.5.1.b, built from the OVF file on site, all ports that are required are open 80/443/389.

The issue is resolved as I was installing a new instance so when I created the VM with an admin password without @in it all the GUI's worked. IE/Google/Firefox.

Is now monitoring 3-4 UCSM Flexpods quite happily. Thanks
