Hi All,
I have 2 UCS 220 m4 servers that I want to install on Windows 2012 R2 and connect to a Netapp E2700 series using iSCSI. The 2 UCS servers have the Cisco Flexcard but no HDs and have succeeded in configuring the CIMC and Hyper-V option selected. When I try to install Windows 2012 R2, I am not able to detect the SD drive even after selecting the ucs-cxxx-windows.2.0.10.a.iso drivers.
I have 2 questions;
1.) Do I have to use the UCS Manager in this installation?
2.) If I am to use the iSCSi option, which steps should I follow? I am abit new to UCS.
Regards,
Paul

Greetings.
You will want to make sure the flex-flash controller has the HV partitions enabled, and that you have a boot entry for them in the CIMC, BIOS, bootorder.
Thanks,
Kirk...

Good Day Kirk,
Thanks for the quick reply. I have enabled the HV partitions and have them setup in the boot order of both CIMC and the BIOS. The issue I get is when selecting the storage driver after specifying the usc-cxxx-drivers-windows.2.1.0a.iso, I don't pick the drive.
My servers don't have any local drives as well.
Regards,
Paul.
