Is QLogic QLE2562 HBA card with part number P/N: PX2810403-01 L compatible with Cisco UCS C220 M3 ?

As the card cannot be read by the bios and when the server detect it, after restart it disappears and so on.

Hello,

All supported hardware can be found on the spec sheet:

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m3-sff-specsheet.pdf

Please ensure the option ROM is enabled in the BIOS.

Have you tried different slots? Are you on a correct firmware version to support that card?

Hello,

I read that document, but every vendor has its own part number or Product ID.

For Cisco the Part number or PID as shown: N2XX-AQPC105

and the card I have is PX2810403-01 which is not a valid cisco PID.

So I need to know, if is that P/N compatible with the ucs or not ?

Thanks.

The card will need to be a Cisco branded/approved card.

Many of of our 3rd party approved/tested devices will have firmware enhancements that improve functionality in a UCS server, including power/cooling profile requirements, firmware releases included in HUU/UCSM, etc.

Thanks,

Kirk...
