We have multiple C220 servers in our Data Center. We just purchased 4 more; the 4 new servers have server 2012 installed on them. These new serves are connected to a Cisco 6509 server setup as an access port with Auto/Auto for speed and duplex. The CIMC's are negotioating 1000/Full. NIC mode:Shared LOM Extended, NIC Redundancy: active-active. We are having issues getting into CIMC. If we do a shut no shut on the switch port we can access CIMC and the server, but at any time we will loose connection to the CIMC and not the server. When I do a show mac address on the port that the CIMC is connected to I see the MAC address of CIMC and the MAC Address of the server. When I do a show arp on those MAC addresses they come back with the correct ip address. We have a TAC case opened up, but still ubale to find solution. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
