Clear 'failed' status on standby MC-LAG link port channels?

Hi all, I was curious if anyone knows of a way in 2.2(8i) to have a link not be considered 'failed' if it is part of a port channel which MC-LAG has placed into standby?  I'm connecting the fabric interconnect uplinks to Cisco devices which cannot do active-active MC-LAG, so they place the ports on the standby chassis into a standby state until the other side fails.  This isn't a huge deal, but UCS shows the port as failed until it actually comes up, so we have a permanent bunch of Major faults.  Thanks

Just for clarification: you have 2 UCS FI and 2 Nortbound Ethernet switches ?

- what model of switches ?

- is each FI dual homed to either North bound switch ?

- are the 2 switches L2 interconnected ?

- are the FI running Ethernet End host mode (no spanning tree ?)
