Connecting 4 SATA 7.2K LFF HDD on a Cisco UCS C220 M4L
Dear Cisco Community,
i've tried to study the Cisco C220 M4 datasheet but I'm still not sure if it's possible to install 4 SATA 7.2K LFF HDD on a Cisco UCS C220 M4L without installing any Raid/HBA controller, using the integrated Intel Wellsburg PCH controller.
I want to use this server for ZFS purposes, so it's unnecessary for me have a server with a raid controller and besides this, for this kind of HDD i don't need SAS performance.
Here the Block Diagram, for the Cisco C220 M4 Server, and for what regards the M4L (LFF) seems here that the cables can only be attached to the Raid Card
Can someone give me an advice, if I can buy the server so configured
