Couldn't able to create a fence for RHEL Cluster

Dear All,

We have configured the UCS Manager successfully & OS got installed , LUN's got mapped to the servers.

we have given a static ip for KVM access on the inventory...>CIMC tab. & tired to use UCS Manager IP for configuring the fencing but we are not successful.

We couldn't even able to do to ssh for the balde CIMC.  Do Inband IP  per blade is must for configuring the fence...We didn't have given the Inband pool & policy for the blades.

Request you suggest the best practice to configure the fencing & clustering.

Thanks in advnace.

Regards,

Gopi G

Hi Gopi

In case of b-series servers or UCSM managed c-series servers, its better to use fence_cisco_ucs agent. Check the following links

Hi Singh,

Thanks alot for your response...But in redhat portal..I couldn't able to see much information.

Fence_Cisco_ucs agent is a rpm package which needs to be installed.

Please let me know...I will follow the above guide lines & will let you know . It would be great if you can share some elaborated information if possible.
