Greetings.

Do you or did you have a physical monitor hooked up to the rack server?  This would also include any kind kvm remote solution that is connected to the kvm dongle or vga port on the back, as these would attempt to sync the physical console video (apparently to an incompatible one that vKVM won't do)

The workaround notes from https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCux10031/?reffering_site=dumpcr show:

There are 2 workarounds:
1) Disconnect the monitor which supports the resolution which is not supported by the graphics core, (and reboot the system if needed).

2) Change the screen Resolution using the physical monitor to one of the below supported resolutions:
640x480 (8bpp)
800x600 (8bpp)
1024x768 (8bpp)
1280x1024 (8bpp)
1600x1200(8bpp)
1920x1080(8bpp)
1920x1200(8bpp)
640x480 (16bpp)
800x600 (16bpp)
1024x768 (16bpp)
1280x1024(16bpp)
1600x1200(16bpp)
1920x1080(16bpp)
1920x1200(16bpp)
640x480 (24bpp)
800x600 (24bpp)
1024x768 (24bpp)
1280x1024(24bpp)
640x480 (32bpp)
800x600(32bpp)
1024x768(32bpp)
1280x1024(32bpp)

Thanks,

Kirk...

The First Workaround has worked for me but only after reboot of UCS(CIMC).

Kindly suggest how to fix this issues .
