don't have ping to one of Fabric Interconnet 6332-16UP in cluster state

Hi,

I have a problem with my Cluster State in one of my Fabric Interconnect.

I'm reconfiguring my cluster with new FI, and do erase configuration to my FIs, so start the configure from the beginning and after configuring all the system, both FI.

I don't have ping to one of my FIs, I got ping to my VIP IP and the other FI.

I really don't understand why I don't have ping. all the configuration at nexus is defined correctly.

the same configuration on both FI and one of them have ping and the second no.

please help me to determine the problem why it occurred?

thank you

Can you ping directly from the other FI?

On the FI that is reachable,

#connect local-mgmt

local-mgmt#show mgmt-ip-debug

Your eth0 should be the node IP

local-mgmt#ping IP-OF-YOUR-Problem-NODE

The FI ports don't do trunking, so they effectively need to be access ports.

Assuming you have confirmed that access port vlan is the same on both FI ports?

Are you learning mac address on the upstream switch?  You can see the mac from the #show mgmt-ip-debug output.

You can also connect internally from one FI to another with the #connect local-mgmt a|b

Thanks,

Kirk...
