High Fan Speed after Upgrade from 1.4(7c) to 1.5(1f)

Hello,

after Upgrading the Firmware from 1.4(7c) to 1.5(1f) via HUU on my two C220M3 the speed of all fan is higher than before (8500-9000 RPM).

Is this normal?

the servers are very noisy.

Hello Nico,

Yes, it is normal in 1.5.1f version as we have increased the FAN speed to work around known issues.

The next major release of firmware will accommodate additional logic that drive down the FAN speeds.

When can we expect this major release I have 1.5.1j? The server is still noisy and the fun speed is around 9500.
