Hello Shashi,

Two Fabric Interconnect ( FI ) make up the cluster or UCS domain and it is administered via single UCSM instance running on FI ( active primary role )

There is no additional software configuration required from user to build a UCS cluster.

The following doc will help you if you are setting up the FI for the first time.

Hello Shashi,

At UCS level, each UCS domain ( FI cluster ) is separate management entity and managed by UCSM.

With current version of UCS Central product, you can centralize certain management functions like global pools , monitoring etc.

Now, let us take a step back to understand your setup.

Is this brand new installation of FIs ?

Do you have physical access to FI ?

The guide provides instructions on initial set up process of UCS domain ( FI cluster )

If my understanding is incorrect, please provide more detailed information about requirement.

Thanks

Padma

Hi Padramas,

I have two Cisco UCS Emulator on two different machine.

Suppose Cisco UCSPE 1 is on machine A and Cisco UCSPE 2 on machine B.

Now my requirement is:

I want both the emulator is a cluster. That means we sholud have one URL to access both the emulator. If emulator Cisco UCSPE 1 is down then Cisco UCSPE 2 should connect automatically.

I did not install FI seperately, just after the installation of emulator   i have configured all the components manaually through UCSM GUI.

Thanks & Regards,

Shashi
