I'm having trouble installing the system on a c22 m3 server with the LSI RAID, does not detect RAIDI've been watching tutorials, I've got it all sorted out. When installed, it simply does not detect RAID

I'm sorry if the location was wrong but I didn't know where to add a ticket

Ok, so that's the embedded controller, sometimes called the MegaSR controller.

Windows and most Linux systems support that, if you have the correct driver present.

VMware does not support it.

For your Centos install, do you have the mega_SR driver mounted?

It's usually in the /c600 storage subfolder on the linux drivers ISO.

You may need to use the 'redhat' drivers.

Greetings.

Can you confirm if you are using a LSI 92xx type controller or the embedded one?

If it's one of the 9200 series ones, can you confirm if you have actually created a raid volume/VD prior to attempting to install the OS?

For that type of server, the 9200 series LSI controllers used 'webbios' option ROM utility that was invoked with cntrl + H during POST time.

Also the CIMC, with recent firmware version should also let you create and configure a virtual drive/VD, and mark it as bootable.

Why don't I ask you another question, how do I add this driver to this raid?

I'm adding a KVM console to the KVM - Map Removable Disk

What subfolder /c600? Can you give us a link to the drivers?

I try to install it according to your instructions, but I have the same bug as in the video.

I used the dd-fnic-centos6.9-1.6.0.50.iso driver and the centos6.9 installation CD.

Can you tell me which Linux I can install and which drivers exactly?
