I am new to UCS and need some guide as to how to upgrade the firmware on a UCD 5018 chassis. Is there a guide or a manual I can read? My searches so far have not found anything.

Previous release notes just point to https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/notes/CiscoUCSManager-RN-3-2.html which is kind of a rolling/updated doc, and gets new caveats and hardware feature notes added to it, for additional minor versions getting added to this same software train.

Thanks! This is a big help.

Another question - Does anyone have a working link to the release notes for UCS B-Series Blade Server Software Release Note for 3.2(3n)? The link for this at the support page is broken.

Here is the link to the UCS Manager 3.2 release train which includes 3.2(3n)

Bummer, this link isn't working.

This link is working, thanks!

Sorry, I have another question:

Will the infrastructure firmware upgrade also upgrade the firmware of the servers or does that have to be done separately?

You will use auto-install feature to upgrade the A bundle. This is the UCSM/FI/IOMs.

To upgrade the blade servers, you will need to use the B bundle. You can use auto-install for upgrading the servers, however, if their is a service profile attached, best practice is to utilize a host firmware policy which defines the target B-series release. This will automatically update all components to the correct firmware once the policy is in place and acknowledged.

If you have integrated rack servers, you will need to upload and utilize the C firmware bundle. Same features as B bundle apply, just for rack servers instead of blades.
