Hi,

Is it supported to connect a HX Node with VIC 1457 and 6332-16?

It has sixteen 10G Ports, so it should be officially supported, right?

Yes, you can use the 10Gb ports on 6332-16UP in combination with vic 1457 for a Hyperflex configuration.

Don't forget to use MLOM 1457 port 1 to FI-A and port 3 to FI-B

As long as you are using supported SFPs or cables there should not be any problem.

You can refer below link to check supported cables or SFPs with 6332-16 FIs.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-6300-series-fabric-interconnects/datasheet-c78-736682.html

I understand that, but I'm not sure if this is officially supported by Cisco.
A HX node is not a regulard UCS Node, it has specific requirments.

If you are looking for confirmation from Cisco side then please refer section "Supported switches with VIC 1455/1457" in below link  and your FIs are supported with this VIC.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/unified-computing-system-adapters/datasheet-c78-741130.html

Kindly note that this card is supported only on M5 generation C series servers and also make sure that you run recommended firmware and UCSM version. You can find this information also on the above link.

Please don't forget to mark this as solution if it solves/answer your question.
