KVM UCS IP Pool

Hello,

we are using KVM IP Pools in UCS Manager 4. We have one IP for every Blade in the UCS. Is there any way to reduce the number of IPs in the pool and assign them like DHCP with a short lease?

Hi Andreas,

There is no dhcp lease option for kvm ip pool. Hopefully you are using just one IP for each servers, as by default server will use ext-mgmt-pool to pick the ip. And another if you are using service-profile.

Starting with 3.x, I believe, you can setup a "Domain Out of Band Pool" as well. It wont give you DHCP though.

You will see that option enabled when UCSM is connected to UCS Central. We have global & local both.
