Is there a document that states the maximum number of C-Series rack servers supported in UCS? I've done a bit of searching and haven't come up with a hard number like there is for blades.

Currently with 1.4, the max supported is 19 (with a 6120) / 39 (with a 6140).

If you look at the attached picture, it shows the wiring required for c-series integration with UCSM.

The management (CIMC) goes through a 2248 while the data adapters (10 Gig ports) go directly into each of the 6100's.

Assuming no B-series and 1 connection to the 2248 from each FI, you are left with 19 or 39 ports for data on a 6120 and 6140 respectively as only fixed ports on the FI's can be server facing. That is where the limitation comes from currently.

Thanks
