Hello All
I purchased a UCS C220 M4 server for my own lab and I populated all the memory banks with 24x 16GB of ram. I checked the server and it was running fine with 384GB of memory. The next day my server wouldn't fully boot and would get stuck at "configuring memory". After doing some tshooting I found bank H1 to be bad. I even clearned the CMOS, but with same result. After removing the ram stick from H1 my server boots just fine again, but notice in the bios says "total memory 368GB active memory 288GB". All G and H memory banks are showing error message.
Is it because I don't have a ram stick in H1 that it's causing other memory issues for G and H memory?
