Hello
We have a new Cisco UCS C3260 Rack Server
And we are facing issues while installing Redhat on the machine, that is unable to detect the disk(Raid1) while installing OS, whereas we can see other disks.
Should I enable something in BIOS?

Look at the below document and requirement.

If you have a raid 1 volume for the smaller 2.5" SSDs in the back, which are likely wired to a sas raid controller in one of the blades, then you may need an update to the megaraid sas driver in redhat (this assumes UCS-S3260-DRAID type controller).
If you have a the hba controller (non raid) then you will have 'software' raid type of config which is driven by a sata PCH controller, and will likely us a megaSR type of driver.
HCL tool: https://ucshcltool.cloudapps.cisco.com/public/
3260 drivers url: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286289336/type/283853158/release/4.1(2c)?i=!pp
I suspect you will need to work through doing a storage driver dd/dud image for use during OS install so it will see your raid based virtual volume.

So that shows you do have PCH controller, and 'software' raid, which will need the MegaSR type driver.
How did you create the raid volume to begin with, without being able to go into Ctrl + M ?

I did a hardware raid from BIOS and that raid part is now not displaying as an OS installation disk

Yes, the OS install needs the correct megaSR driver to be provided in order to be able to read/use the software raid volume.

Hello
Thank you for the update
Can you tell me how can I enable the LSI Software raid? As I said nothing is happening while pressing Ctrl-M or Enter .
Should I install additional software?

The screen shot indicated you have already managed to create the raid 1 volume.
There appears to be something wrong with the optionROM during post time, that is not letting you select/enter Ctrl + M as your screen shot is indicating the software raid is already enabled if you are getting that prompt.
You may want to disable other unneeded optionROMs for other devices such as the NICs, as I have occasionally seen issues when too many of those were enabled.
At a minimum please see https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/hw/C220M5/install/C220M5/C220M5_appendix_0100.html#concept_jz3_2h4_lz for creating a driver image to provide your OS installer.
You may need to open a TAC case for this.

Now I can enter into the LSI Raid Utility. but Raid 1 Is not still detecting on installation time, I tried without raid and is working

If you put the drives in jbod mode/ahci mode, then that uses a different, generic drive that is likely native to the install OS.
Again, if you are not including the megaSR driver to the install OS,, then you won't see the virtual drive/raid 1.
