problem with remote access to kvm console.

I have some question for you, if you can help me please?

how could i have, from an remote network out of my own, the access to a kvm console, when i try to connect to this from another site, i could entry to the ucsm without problems but when i want to access the kvm remotely i can´t, how can i enable this function ?

Hi Jesus,

Can you provide us more details on unable to access the KVM? Was there an error message or something while you tried launching the KVM?

Is this a new setup? has KVM ever worked?

One quick thing to start with would be by making sure the management IP pool is defined (and is in the same subnet as the FI mgmt IPs) and the blade(s) you are having issues with has an IP assigned to the CIMC

There is some infromation we need to know about this issue.

Is the server a B or C series?

What is firmware version installed in the server?

When you try to open the KVM connection does it show any error message?
