PSU in power-save state

Hi,

we have some UCS-B and some leds of their PSU's are blinking and the status is N/A. Status detailed can be seen in the screenshot:

The strange thing is this state doesn't generate any fault.

Does anyone know if PSU's are really working bad or is only a cosmetic issue?

Regards.

Had the same "problem" before.

When I passed a chassis the blinking PSU got my attention.

Our Cisco SE told me that this is a normal behaviour. When a PSU is not needed (depends on your power policy and installation order) it is switched to standby/power-save.

Nothing to worry about. Just a "green" behaviour.
