Running different PSUs on same 5108 chassis

I have some older N20-C6508 chassis, which I understand are still supported.  I would like to run UCSB-PSU-2500ACDV PSUs on the same chassis as UCSB-PSU-2500ACPL PSUs.  Is this possible?  Or is it at least possible to keep the chassis running while replacing all the PSUs one at a time, from the older model to the newer model?

I have not tried it.

But I do not see any reason for that not to work.

To be on the safe side. Maybe think of configure N+1 in the power policy to be able to cope better if something could to the other PSU's during the switch over.

Maybe catalog file can be old and not up to date with the the PID of the PSU.

Looking to do the same thing, did mixing the different PSUs temporarily to swap them out work ok?
