Hello community,

today, i receive the message from one of our Servers, that the service profile is not available.

First messageService profile ESX48 cannot be accessed

Second message: Connectivity between the CIMC and one of the FIs is down. Connectivity may be down for expected reasons (e.g. FI/CIMC firmware upgrade).

Third message: Server 3/1 (service profile: org-root/org-ESXi/ls-ESX48) inaccessible

All messages get cleared some seconds later.

We are using the firmware Version: 4.1(3c)

Server Version: B200 M5

Any ideas where that come from?

Thanks

Frank

If the operating system on the blade continued to run without any issues during that time and you only saw those messages it is usually indicative of a CIMC reboot.  If no known maintenance was going on at the time it would be a good idea for TAC to check the logs to see what exactly happened.

Today i have the message again. Because there are at the moment no running vm´s on that cluster, we do not have any outage. But before we add new vm´s, i wan´t to know whats going on.

I have opened a case.

As far as i have news, i will share them here.

Frank
