Setup UCS lab

Hi Any one have experience of setting up UCS lab using UCSPE. Can I setup the UCS lab at home? Do I need other physical devices? Thank you

I pulled the 4.12c release .ova up on vmware workstation 15, and the import asked for 2GB of ram, 1 vcpu, and 20GB of diskspace.
