Hello

we have a Single chassis UCS 5108 and only one 6120XP with 2* 2104 FEX. Is there a possibility to connect 4 ports from both FEX into one FI ? What happens if I connect?

Hi Anand,

No you cannot connected both the IOM from the same chassis to the same FI. It is an un-supported configuration plus the second IOM will show up in the UCSM but will never come online with messages like un-supported configuration etc.

Plus it can also leave some faults in the UCSM which might need the chassis decomission and re-ack to be cleared.
