Hello,

The new UCSM release will be able to create FC zones, so that connecting EMC and NetApp FC arrays directly to FIs will be supported, right?

Will this statement also be true regarding FC VTL backup libraries like EMC Data Domain?

Only EMC and Netapp have been tested for direct attached configurations.  I fullly assume that will continue to be the case with 2.1.  Once released, the technical reference docs will explicitly state whether this can be done.  For a more exact answer prior to the release, you will want to work with your Channel Partner SE.
