Greetings all,

Please note that the maintenance release for UCS 1.4 is now available for download from Cisco.com. This release, 1.4(2b), is a bug fix and stability release.

As a reminder, in 1.4 the single upgrade bundle was broken into smaller components, namely infrastructure and server bundles. Here are the current shortcuts to images on Cisco.com:

* UCS 1.4(2b) Infrastructure Bundle Download
[www.cisco.com > Support > Download Software > Products > Unified Computing and Servers > Cisco UCS Infrastructure and UCS Manager Software > Infrastructure Software Bundle]

* UCS 1.4(2b) B-Series Software Bundle Download
[www.cisco.com > Support > Download Software > Products > Unified Computing and Servers > Cisco UCS B-Series Blade Server Software > Unified Computing System (UCS) Server Software Bundle]

* UCS 1.4(2b) C-Series Software Bundle Download
[www.cisco.com > Support > Download Software > Products > Unified Computing and Servers > Cisco UCS C-Series Rack-Mount UCS-Managed Server Software > Unified Computing System (UCS) Server Software Bundle]

Please note that due to outstanding changes in the CCO download hierarchy there will be changes to the location of the B and C-series server bundles in the very near future. I'll update the appropriate links above once the changes have been completed.

I have updated this post to have the links point to the new and final  homes on the navigation structure, along with the navigation paths to get  there.

Release notes available here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/notes/OL_24086.html

Any issues with dowloading or installing the new version let us know.

Regards,
Michael

Awesome!!  Thanks for the heads up. Just downloaded and we are planning to upgrade during next MSCU cycle (May 13th).  I'll let you guys know how it goes.

It doesn't look like there is a new driver ISO available.  Normal download location has only the 1.4(1g) release listed.  Is that still the most recent driver bundle?

Hey Sean,

Since this is only a patch release, no new drivers needed.  Only firmware & system software are updated.

Cheers,

Robert

Cool, thanks for the quick response Rob!  Finally found this community...expect a bunch of posts in place of TAC cases!
