UCS 210 - Fan lower fatal error

Hi ,

We have UCS 210 M2 with CIMC 1.4.2. We are getting the Lower Fatal Error for 2 fans & RPM are shown as 0. I couldn't find anything with UCS fault Message reference guide.

There are some known bugs with FAN speed in earlier version of 1.4.  Can you upgrade to the latest 1.4(3) release.  Run the latest HUU (Host Update Utility) which will upgrade all relevant components.

If the problem persists, then I'd suggest to open a TAC case.

Yes, HUU is a bootable ISO that will run through all components (BIOS, CIMC, Adapters, LOM etc) and update the firmware on all at once.  The total process takes about 15mins.

Version 1.4(3s) is the latest version for the C210 M2.
