UCS C220 M3 Fan Speed Problem

I have 2 C220 M3 servers with nearly identical hardware that act very differently. They are both C220 M3S servers although one thinks it is an SNS-3495-K9, but it isn't the problem one. Both are running BIOS version C220M3.3.0.3a.0 with dual Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz CPU's, 128GB RAM (16 x 8GB), and the memory is operating at 1333 MHz. Both have a Chelsio T520-CR 10G NIC's. The loud one has an LSI 9266-8i RAID card, and the quiet one has a Cisco UCSC RAID SAS 2008M-8i mezzanine card. At one point the loud one had one of the mezzanine cards too, but it still exhibited the same behavior. Both have (2) ST9300653SS (Cisco 300GB 15K SAS) drives in a RAID 1 configuration. The problem is that the loud one cycles fans 1,2,3 up about 10K every 5 minutes or so, and then eventually cycles them back down to 4K. The quiet one stays at about 4K all the the time. In the loud one, fans 4 & 5 always stay around 3K as does the quiet one. The only real difference I noticed while gathering the info for this post is that the loud one has (15) M393B1K70BH1-CH9 DIMM's and a single M393B1K70CHD-YH9 DIMM. The quiet one has all (16) M393B1K70BH1-CH9. They are both running ESXi 6.5.0, 7526125 which is installed on a RAID 1 Flexflash with Cisco 16GB SD cards. Could the single different DIMM cause that? That seems kind of unlikely, but I am running out of ideas.
