Hi,

Can I add the following drive types to a c240 M4SX, firmware version 2.0(10b). There is an existing virtual drive so i am thinking about adding these and creating another instead of expanding it.

UCS-SD800G12S3-EP

UCS-SD16TB12S3-EP

thanks

Greetings.

UCS-SD800G12S3-EP  seems to map to a SSDSC2BX800G4K, and UCS-SD16TB12S3-EP to SSDSC2BX016T4K . SSDSC2BX800G4K  lists firmware version in 4.0 code at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/firmware_files/4_0/b_UCS_C-series_Firmware-Files_4_0/b_UCS_C-series_Firmware-Files_4_0_chapter_010.html

and in 3.0 code https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/firmware_files/3_0/b_UCS_C-Series_Firmware_Files_Internal_Dependencies_3_0.pdf

Both seem to be 3x endurance 6Gb sata SSDs, but I'm having a hard time finding specific reference to the larger drive in supported firmware release notes.

Looks like the smaller drive would probably be supported in 3 or 4.0 firmware, but not sure about the 1.6TB one.

Both drives appear to be older models, that are no longer listed in spec sheets anywhere.
