Greetings!
I have a number of C240M5 chassis with the VIC 1455 cards; Is there a way to configure this vic card for the following scenario:
Standalone chassis (i.e., not connected to a fabric interconnect)
All four SFP ports are usable for assigning virtual interfaces to in order to make them visible to the OS (esx 6.5U3 / 6.7U1)
These will be connecting to a catalyst 9300 single chassis switch, but we may connect them to some older hardware we have sitting around (C2960G)
I know that the VIC 1225 cards are configurable to interact with a catalyst switch as long as they are put into classic ethernet mode, and the switch port is configured as a trunk.
