We are planning to move UCS FI from the existing 5548's to a new pair of 93128s.. Storage will stay as-is .. Ethernet connectivity to the N5K will be moving...
We plan to do the following:
0) have new port channels defined, with new interfaces in UCS FI. We wouldnt add this new port channel to the uplink pinning groups yet.
1) shutdown the existing port channel to N5K1 (straight thro port channel).. all MACs move to the 2nd port channel, as a part of fabric failover.
2) no shut the new port channel, and add it to the uplink pin group. After 300 secs, the MACs is going to be showing up in this port channel..
3) do the same with the other port channel.
Anyone seeing any issues with this approach ?
