UCS FW update 2.0 to 2.1 with direct attach FC storage and Default Zoning are enabled

Hello all

I have a big Problem.

We Need to Update our UCS FW (2.01 to 2.13 to 2.23)

We have connect our Storage over direct attach ed FC Storage Ports. FI's are in FC Switch Mode.

If I make the Update the VSAN Option "Enabled Default Zoning" doesen exist and Switch automatically to Disabled.

After the Update to 2.1 i can make manualy the Zoning but I can't make this Upddate without a complete Downtime.

Is this right?

Or can I do anything without a downtime?

Hi Steve, As you already know, after 2.1 (1a) defaul zoning was disabled, so if you are using this now and upgrade your ucs to the 2.1 (3) you will lose all access to your fc storage. See post below https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11673921/default-zoning-users-heads-ucsm-21
