1. I would like to know when the link grouping preference in ucs global policy should be set to None. Or what's good?

2. I also want to know the advantages and disadvantages of Port Channel in the classis fex discovery policy.

Just like any other port-channel, you get better load balancing and redundancy between IOMs and FIs, so you will want to enable link grouping.

Ask the customer if they want to configure the Link Grouping Preference to None over Port Channel.
