Hi Aleks,

Are you seeing any functionality problems with the emulator?  These turned out to be spurious warnings in the previous case that didn't cause other issues.

Hi David
Thanks for replying,
So far no issues but it makes you question any problems you do encounter.
Would be nice if the simulator would come up clean.

The download stops in the middle about 2.5MB. Whats the issue????

If you’re having issues downloading the OVA or Zip file, please try the cisco.box.com links in the Box_Download_Links.txt.zip file.

Thanks.

Is there some trick to getting the FIs to actually change?  I'm using 3.1.2 PE, and am trying to build a UCS mini.  I've been able to remove all the hardware that the system had be default, then I go into settings to change the FIs to 6324s, but when I click on the submit button nothing happens, and I still have 6332 FIs listed as my FIs.  They are showing green, but I have not found a way to get them to show red before trying to swap them.  I've also tried other FIs, but have the same result.

After clicking submit the UCSPE should restart which will take several minutes to complete. Are there any messages on the VM console that indicate a reset is occurring after clicking submit?

Thanks-

David

Hello,

I have exported my production configuration (logical) and when I try to import it into UCEPE 3.1(1e) I receive the following error message: Insufficient privileges to configure 'org-root/ls-<server name removed>'. User's privileges must have at least one of 'read-only', but user has 'admin'

Does the import FSM tab show any other information on what is not working with the import? If you can directly reply to me and include the backup file, I can take a look at the specific objects that are failing the import.

Thanks.

I have installed the emulator on a laptop running VMware workstation player.  I am not able to access the gui.  I can only access the cliuser or config options.  Any help would be great.

Thank you

Dave

So what happens when you try to launch the GUI? Does it time out? Error screen? Also, have you tried doing the factory reset? Finally, what browser are you using? I’ve found Firefox works most consistently.
