Here you go.

Q8.

Correct Answer A.  All "uplink" ports are configured as trunks which carry all VLANS (except in cases of Disjoint Layer 2 scenarios).

B. Wrong. UCS does not use ISL, but rather 802.1Q, the industry standard for trunking.

C. Wrong. In the default UCS mode EHM (End Host Mode), there is no spanning tree.  This is not a configurable option regardless.

D. Wrong. There are no such things as access ports in UCS.  Not on uplinks or host interfaces.

Q10.

Correct Answer A and B (though this is a terrible question which has little to do with the 1000v.).  These are the only two true statements.

C. Wrong. VSANs have nothing to do with vNICs, but rather vHBA's.

D. Wrong. VSANs do not have to use the same VSANs on each fabric, they can be configured differently. They also require to be configured upstream.

Q18.

Correct Answer B, D and E.

A. language barrier

B. collaboration

C. SLA metrics

D. global availability

E. separate infrastructures and support organizations

Explanation:  Language and Collaboration are not Datacenter-specific challenges/pressures.  The other three are the most correct answers IMO.

Let me know if you have any questions or follow ups on my responses.

Which exam is this in prep for? DCUCI?

Regards,

Robert

Thanks a Lot Robert.....

Exam is 642-982

Robert If Collaboration are not Datacenter-specific challenges/pressures then why answer B.

Thanks

Tanmay,

Slight typo on that last question.  Correct answers would be "C", D, and E.  SLA's are more of a DC pressure point than Collaboration for businesses.

Robert

A. Application Mobility

B. decreased Storage Access

C. Data Consolidated Management

Rather than just give you answers you should make an educated guess, then we could discuss them.  I don't have an answer sheet, so my answers are based on my experience & understanding of the technologies.

Memorizing answers doesn't help absorb the knowledge.  It's best to understand the concepts and technology functionality which is the goal of this certification.

Robert
