Upgrading UCS Central 1.0(1a) to 1.1(1b)

I have followed the steps as outlined by Cisco in the UCS Centrel Upgrade and Installation guide:

Step 1   If necessary, reboot the VM and change the boot options to boot from CD ROM.
Step 2   Mount the Cisco UCS Central ISO image with the virtual CD/DVD drive.
Step 3   From the Cisco UCS Central Installation menu on the ISO image, choose Upgrade Existing Cisco UCS Central.
Step 4   After the upgrade is complete, unmount the Cisco UCS Central ISO image from the virtual CD/DVD drive.
Step 5   Reboot the Cisco UCS Central VM.

However after mounting the UCS Central ISO image and reloading the VM, I never see the UCS Central Installation menu just the standard log in screen.

Has anyone been able to successfully upgrade UCS Central 1.0(1a) to 1.1(1b)?

Hi Paul,

Yes the above process works fine. Did you change the boot order to make sure it boots into the CD/DVD?

Also can you make sure the downloaded image is proper.

Abhinav,

It looks as if the image had not downloaded properly.

Thanks for your assistance.
