Hi there guys!

We got a pair of UCS 210 M2 Serie C Servers, We managed to install WK2008 R2 Enterprise Edition x64 into the server, but is extremly slow and is not even connected to the network, we verified that all the drivers and updates are up to date.

Also we tray to install WK2008 using the Utility disc but every time we finish the wizard and the server reboot, the RAID is degraded!. anyone has this kind of issues before?

Greetings.

Hello Samuel,

Can you check and confirm a few things here:

1) do you have a quad card installed on this server?

2) How did you confirm the RAID is degraded? Do you see any amber on the disk? What is the adapter you using and what is the RIAD level configured?

Hi abbharga thank for responding, the problem was the Ethernet Card we use the drives listed here and problem is ok:

Yes when the server reboot after using the utility disc i see the raid 1 degraded, but we manage to make a standalone install of windows server 2008 r2.

But i think we have another problem, when swaping disc (testing the raid 1) the rebuild is taking too much time, at least 12 hours to finish the proccess. Is this normal?
