The zone rename command "Renames a zone set in the specified VSAN." You can create the desired zone on the new VSAN, add to zoneset and reactivate the zoneset.

For the zones, because the two switches are part of the same fabric and the zones are merged. Same fabric means same zones, etc. The zones/zoneset, after activation are "pushed" to the switches in the same fabric.
