Hi, This is a typical cold DR site setup which normally only used in Disaster time only. The only two option available ti test DR site system are as below. Disable the communication from main site Enforce the NAT & ACl at DR to main site link router. Option two will allow the DR system access and application validation from main site. Thanks Mustafa

Hi, I configured the ISS Siteprotector to send the alarm to MARS 6.0.2. In MARS, if I query for this ISS NIDS, I can find the lot of alarm received with the session ID. But I am not able to see those events on Dashboard or in incidents lists as the log send by ISS Sitepreotector are logged in MARS database with session ID but MARS is not assign the Incident ID to those events. Hi, This is a tricky solution but it's must work. Go to your ethernet interface's connection properties. Select TCP/IP properties Select Advance in TCP/IP Properties In Advanced TCP/IP Setting, change the Interface metric from 1 to 2. Apply the configuration. Try to connect VPN. Now it should work. Hi, Monitoing interface used to send the tcp rests. Command & Control interface is used for Shun. Your Switch which is being monitored with either SPAN or VACL capture should accept incomming packets on SPAN or VACL capture port. Otherwise your tcp-rest feature will not work. Regards, Mustafa.

Hi, Use Extended Authentication (Xauth) on Firewall for VPN Cleint. On ACS's user settings, use active directory which you already configured in External database as a password authentication type. hi, where are you terminating your VPN? Are you using client at office site which has a firewall and main office has a concentrator or firewall, where you are terminating VPN? enable NAT-T (usp over 45000 port) and try to use VPN through NAT-T. Regards, Mustafa

I am using VPN Concentrator 3030, with image 4.1.7.D. I configured remote access & LAN-to-LAN VPN on this concentrator. Now because of my remote access users have a problem to access VPN through NAT/PAT, I enable a NAT-T. (In Configuration | Tunneling and Security | IPSec | NAT Transparency). I open a UDP port 4500 on my firewall because My concentrator is behind the Firewall. Now my all the Remote access clients are working fine through NAT-T. Also I have a some running LAN-to-LAN van connection, which is terminating on different peer devices (Router, Concentrator).. Now I didn't enable a NAT-T on any of the LAN-to-LAN Connection. But still my LAN-to-LAN connection is first trying to check the NAT devices. Why my LAN-to-LAN connection is first checking for NAT-T even I didn't enable NAT-T on LAN-to-LAN connection? Now beacuse of NAT-T, my LAN-to-LAN Connection is not able to established because NAT-T detect local device is behind the NAT. How can I resolve this problum? After disabling NAT-T my LAn-to-LAn VPN is working fine. Thanks, Mustafa

Hi, I am try to use site to site VPN through VPN concentrator 3030 at both side. Site A has a lan Ip address 192.168.1.x/24 and my side IP address is 172.16.1.x/24. Now when source packet from 192.168.1.x subnet come to my VPN, I want to NAT it to 192.168.100.x before transfering to my LAN.IS it possible to do destination NAT at my site. Thanks,

Hi, My internet router are connected to two different ISP.On my server and with both ISP routers, BGP is running. I am using PAT to access the internet. Now I configured two default route on my router, one for each ISP. Now if both ISP's link are connected then one packet is going through onw isp and other packet is going to another ISP. Because of that my internet is very slow. IF I shutdoen any of the one ISP then my internet speed is fine.How can I specify that insted of packet, it will take the datastream for load balance? Hi, I am using LMS 2.2 and I configured all the devices to send snmp trap to LMS.DFM is configured for all the devices. Now when the devices restart, it's send a cold start trap to DFM but I can't find coldstart trap in DFM monitoring console. I want cold start trap in DFM so i can find out if any devices are restarted. How can I get this alarm in DFM. Thanks, Banno

Hi, Presently I have a 6513 with MSFC running IOS image. I configured 25 L3 vlan on cat 6513. ALl the vlans are using vlan IP address as a default gateway.
