I have a 3845 running flash:c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-22.YB1.bin (early release) that is not deleting RRI routes after VPN clients have disconnected. Strangely, when I connect to it to test it, the route is removed when I disconnect however, there are currently about 40 RRI static routes in the routing table with no connected VPN clients accounting for them. Any ideas?

The call connector client will connect to the server, and the server connects to the UC500. Make sure that windows firewall has created exceptions for all components of the UCC client. Go to the UCC server and check to see that the server has pulled the correct info for the ephone and user that you are trying to configure. Go all the way through the add process and make sure it is correct start to finish. There was a bug in the server code that like to populate incorrect info in certain configurations. Good luck. www.ketchumits.com

The following doesn't solve the hunt-group nuances however it may give you the fuctionality that you are looking for. Keep your current call flow, but reconfigure your shared line as an octal line. Octal lines have an 8 call limit, so your users will now be able to field multiple calls on the shared line. www.ketchumits.com

I'm deploying a UC520 using Broadvox SIP trunk service and DID's One main number is used for registering the trunk. Problem: All invites of incoming calls use the main number in the URI. The DID's use the FROM field as the DID differentiator. The problem is that the UC520 is routing all calls based on the number in the invite and not the DID in the FROM field. Is there any way to make the UC520 look at the FROM field instead? Thanks, Mike

Yes, that was the "fix". CCA 1.9 has since changed the flash file structure to alleviate the root file limits of the flash. It's recommneded to use at least v1.9 CCA for any software upgrades and select the option to clean up the file system.

I've given that a try with no luck. I've recently noticed other UC500 users pop up with the same error lately...not good. The fix for one guy was to format the flash and start over. Another guy went down to Office Depot and bought a 2 Gig ScanDisk Flash card for $20 and is up and running. I only have 119 root files on my flash card. It has worked in the past with more than that...I don't know what triggered it to stop working, but the $20 card from Office Depot is looking pretty good, supported or not. Thanks for the reply.

I'm using Anyconnect VPN with a 3825 and the VPN comes up and works well with data however, IP communicator is not fully functioning. Using CME 124-15.XZ1. IPC registers and lines appear correctly. Services button works. Directory works. IPC is set to use the Anyconnect adapter. When I attempt to make a call, not much happens. The speaker phone button lights green, but no dial-tone. No digits are dialed. VM button doesn't dial. Pressing line buttons will not take IPC off-hook. All works great with IPSEC client. Using the latest IPC release, did the same with the previous. Tried a couple different versions of Anyconnect too. Any ideas?

Hello, Running CME on a UC520, uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.124-22.T.bin Seeing the following on incoming calls: Dec 30 18:35:36.544: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Msg/ccsipDisplayMsg: Sent: SIP/2.0 400 Bad Request - 'Malformed/Missing FROM: field' Reason: Q.850;cause=100 Date: Tue, 30 Dec 2008 18:35:36 GMT From: "SAMAROO,GANESH" <sip:+17189313167@4.68.250.148>;tag=VPSF506071629460 Allow-Events: telephone-event Content-Length: 0 To: <sip:+15167311500@4.79.212.229:5060>;tag=AF4302E4-2030 Call-ID: NYCMGC0120081230183536020002@209.244.63.25 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 216.82.224.202;branch=z9hG4bKe7fb.3e3b87c6.0,SIP/2.0/UDP 4.79.212.229;branch=z9hG4bKe7fb.4dde2fc3.0,SIP/2.0/UDP 4.68.250.148:5060;branch=z9hG4bK506071629460-1207340264767 Server: Cisco-SIPGateway/IOS-12.x CSeq: 1 INVITE The SIP provider said they saw a similar error with the Call Manager where the "," in the from filed was not being recognized. Does anyone know if the error has carried over to the CME code? Is there a way to force a value in the "from" field for incoming SIP calls? Calls are failing due to this. Thanks.

We just upgraded a 3845 to 12.4(20)T1 and now have a problem with an ATA. The ATA used both lines with different numbers (Dn), each line connected to a seperate overhead paging system. After the upgrade, only one DN seems to be allowed.
