We do have internet access from inside their network. Users can browse the web, albeit slowly. I believe that was option 2. Option 1 would be awesome, but we're definitely not getting that.

I just got off the phone with our customer. Our networks definitley can't see each other. We can't share/map drives or see our printers. We walked through the VPN settings and the RDP settings, and they look good on our side .Any help is appreciated.
