Console Speed

The console speed on my 3750G-48-TS refuses to stay at 9600, it wants to default to 115200 for some reason. Even after doing:conf tline con 0speed 9600(open new hype term---9600-8-N-1)endwr mit still default to 115200 what else can I do here?
