Hello, I have a situation where I need to provide VPN PPTP access to remote users. The setup includes a Cisco 861 router connecting to and controlling access to the WAN. The RV220w is on the LAN side and is connected to the 861 via the LAN interface. I don't have access to the 861 as it is supported by another party so a VLAN may be a pain to have set up. My question, is it possible to have the RV220w respond to port 1723 on its LAN interface instead of the usual WAN interface? It has been suggested I need to look into the router's default gateway to use a LAN address in its routing table... Thank you

Hi, I realize it has been a while since you posted this but I am running into a situation which you may be able to help with. I have the same setup and have used your settings to connect my Playbook successfully to my VPN configured on a Cisco RV220W but am having problems browsing the internet and intranet while connected. The DNS is dynamically determined but I have tried setting the Primary DNS to the IP address of the RV220W as it also acts as the internet gateway for the work network. However, no luck in either case. If there is anything you can shed some light on that would be great. If you have any suggestions on another good compatible router with VPN capability that would be great as well. I have a client that needs to upgrade their router and I am not sure the RV220W is the way I want to go for them. Thank you.
